African elephants are admired for their strength, intricate social structures, and long memories, making them a powerful emblem of Africa’s natural legacy.

This coin’s obverse features a stunning close-up portrait of an elephant, while the reverse shows two mirrored elephant halves—an inventive design that forms a complete image when two coins are placed side by side.
