South Africa issued this exclusive set, with five coins, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the introduction of the Krugerrand. 

This jubilee set includes a vintage 1967 1 oz Proof Gold Krugerrand, 2016 1 oz Proof Gold Krugerrand, 2017 1 oz Proof Gold Krugerrand, 2017 1 oz Proof Silver Krugerrand and 2017 1 oz Proof Platinum Krugerrand.

The unique set comes in an original box from the mint with a numbered certificate of authenticity. The obverse displays the likeness of Paul Kruger, South Africa's first and only president, along with “South Africa” in Afrikaans and English.

The reverse shows the year of minting, the weight, and the image of the national animal of South Africa, a Springbok antelope. The 1967 and 2017 coins all feature a special 50th anniversary privy mark that includes "1967", "2017" and "50 Year Anniversary".

This is the first time a Krugerrand set has been offered with Silver and Platinum Proof coins.
