An interesting fact about these pieces is that they were rendered to solicit business and described as salesman examples.
Wolfgang Lauer(from Nurenberg) prepared the dies and no accurate figures on mintage are known.
Reportedly struck at the Wurden Mint in Brussels. All were struck in bronze although a piece in aluminium has been reported.
