These patterns were struck in England by Messrs. Heaton and Son. The official dies of the Burgers Ponde were used and the patterns are therefore identical to the famous Burgers Ponde except in composition.
Like the Burgers Ponde, the obverse comes in two types, namely coarse beard (pictured here) and fine beard, referring to the detail of the bottom of the beard.
