1 oz, USA, 2007, Platinum(Pt) - American Eagle(UNC) coin was first produced by the United States(US) in 1997.

Gold and Silver American Eagle bullion coins were produced in 1985 and released in 1986, the Platinum Eagle bullion coins were first minted in 1997. The proof platinum eagle coins are the only U.S. coins that alternate designs yearly on the reverse.

Four different weight denominations for American Eagle Platinum coins are produced; ounce(1oz), half-ounce(1/2oz), Quarter ounce(1/4oz) and one-tenth(1/10 oz). The uncirculated Platinum Eagles coins match the proof designs and are struck on burnished coin blanks with a "W" mint mark(West Point). Bullion coins do not carry the "W" mint mark.
